Where words come alive, WorldWord is a quirky, innovative pre-school series airing on PBS Kids.  I story edited the show’s 2nd season of 52×11 episodes.  My mission: generate plots, run the writers room, guide a crack commando team of WordWorld-scribes, polish and edit their teleplays at every stage of production.  All this, while having a WordBlast.

Jacqui Moody and Olexa Hewryk, also known as the creative force behind WordWorld (and my two bosses) made that easy.  They are among the most talented people working in Kid’s TV, period.

WordWorld has won three Emmy Awards.

In 2008: for “Outstanding Achievement in Main Title Design.”

In 2009: for “Outstanding Children’s Animated Program” and for “Outstanding Writing in Animation.”
